What are Seikomods? Seiko modifications refer to the practice of customizing Seiko watches by altering or replacing components such as the dial, hands, bezel, crystal, or movement. This customization allows enthusiasts to create unique timepieces that reflect their personal style and preferences.

As stated on our custom watch page, Blacksmithmods is an independent creator and is not affiliated with Seiko or any other watch brand. Our custom timepieces are original designs, hand-built using Seiko automatic movements as their foundation. These watches are not Seiko products—they are unique, custom-built creations.

For me it all began with my first ‘gateway watch,’ the Seiko SKX009. Discovering a world of aftermarket parts and modding potential, I quickly moved from simple bezel swaps to custom builds for clients. Now, with dozens of completed builds, a reliable parts network, and a base of loyal customers, I’m ready to bring your dream watch to life.

Every Blacksmith Custom Watch is waterproof-tested, movement-regulated, and comes with a 1-year warranty. The shop showcases watches ready for immediate shipping, but I’m always open to custom orders, big or small—from a bezel swap to a fully custom build.

Mitä ovat Seikomodit? Termi viittaa Seiko -kellojen kustomointiin, jossa tyypillisesti vaihdetaan kellon osia. Vaihdettavia osia ovat useimmiten kellotaulu, viisarit, bezel, lasi tai jopa koneisto. Näin harrastajat rakentavat yksilöllisiä kelloja, jotka ilmentävät heidän tyyliään ja mieltymyksiään. Vain mielikuvitus on rajana.

Kuten custom watch -sivuni vastuuvapauslauseke toteaa, Blacksmithmods on itsenäinen toimija, eikä millään tavalla sidoksissa Seikoon tai muihin brändeihin. Custom -kellomme käyttävät perustanaan Seikon automaattikoneistoja. Ne eivät ole Seikon tuotteita, vaan käsityönä rakennettuja, uniikkeja kelloja.

Omalla kohdallani kaikki alkoi ensimmäisestä “porttikellostani”, Seiko SKX009:stä. Löydettyäni jälkimarkkinaosien maailman ja modausmahdollisuudet, siirryin nopeasti yksinkertaisista kehysvaihdoista asiakastöihin. Nyt, kymmenien valmiiden projektien, luotettavan osaverkoston ja vakiintuneen asiakaskunnan myötä, olen valmis toteuttamaan unelmakellosi.

Jokainen rakentamani Blacksmith Custom -kello on vesitiiviystestattu, käynti säädetty ja sillä on vuoden takuu. Verkkokaupastani löydät kellot, jotka ovat heti valmiita lähetettäväksi, mutta otan aina mielelläni vastaan myös erilaisia tilauksia, olipa kyseessä pelkkä kehysvaihto tai kokonainen custom-kello.
